The senior helped lead the Pirates to a win at No. 4 Michigan
NEW YORK - Senior guard Jared Rhoden (Bladwin, N.Y.) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll following a strong performance in a win at No. 4 Michigan for the Seton Hall men's basketball team.
Rhoden led the Pirates with 16 points and finished second on the team with five rebounds to go along with two steals and two assists. He helped spark the second half comeback against the Wolverines and that included some big-time shots. With the Pirates trailing by eight, Rhoden scored the game's next five points with a three-pointer and a jumper that made it a three-point game with 5:51 left to play. It was still a three-point lead for the Wolverines with 3:11 to go in the game when Rhoden drove to the basket and converted the lay-up that made it a one-point game, 60-59.
Rhoden and The Hall are back in action this evening at 6 p.m. as they take on Ohio State in its first game of the Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off.
