Pirate Varsity Club Reunion and John Moon Celebration Set for Feb. 19

South Orange, N.J. - Pirate Blue has set the date for its 11th annual Pirate Varsity Club Reunion, to be aligned with a celebration of Seton Hall Athletics Hall of Famer and cross country head coach John Moon. This dual event will be held on Sat., Feb. 19th, at Prudential Center during the men's basketball game against DePaul. Doors will be open at 7 p.m., with the game beginning at 8 p.m. The PVC reunion is always a great chance for all Seton Hall former student-athletes to come together with their families and connect with former teammates. Registration is now live online at www.shu.edu/PVCevent.

The cost for former student-athletes to attend is $60, which includes a ticket to the game, open bar, and a complementary meal. Any student-athlete guests are also welcome to join at a cost of $70 each. If you already have game tickets, the entry price for the event is $40 for a former student-athlete and $50 for any guests.

In the midst of his 50th season at Seton Hall, as well as to celebrate his recent induction into the USTFCCCA Hall of Fame, Coach John Moon will also be honored during the game with a special ceremony. A member of the 1997 Seton Hall Athletics Hall of Fame class, Moon has coached 19 Olympians, including two gold medalists, five NCAA champions and 71 All-Americans during his tenure at The Hall. He is also a three-time BIG EAST and District Two Coach of the Year and was named the National Women's Indoor Coach of the Year in 1994.
