
Walsh Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Seton Hall's Jenna Walsh (Foothill Ranch, Calif.) was named to the Academic All-District Team by the College Sports Communicators.

In order to qualify for the prestigious All-District Team, an athlete must maintain a 3.50 grade point average, have spent at least one calendar year at her current institution and must have played in at least 50 percent of her team's contests.

In only her second year at Seton Hall, Walsh blossomed as the Pirates' primary offensive weapon in 2022. Named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 3, she also earned All-Tournament Team honors at the Seton Hall Classic and Temple Invitational. Walsh led the Pirates and finished ninth in the BIG EAST with 3.14 kills per set and had six matches this season of 15 kills or more. She collected the first three double-doubles of her career this season and erupted for a career-high 24 kills at Georgetown on Sept. 30.
