
Gingerelli Named New Jersey State Director of the NSCA

Colorado Springs, Colo. - The National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) has named Angelo Gingerelli, Seton Hall's strength & conditioning coach, the New Jersey State Director through 2025. During his three-year term Gingerelli will be responsible for communication between strength & conditioning professionals in New Jersey and the NSCA national office, promoting the organization throughout the region and coordinating mentorship programs with aspiring strength coaches. The state director also works with the state advisory board on the planning, promotion and speaker selection for the New Jersey State NSCA conference. Â

Gingerelli has been a strength and conditioning coach Seton Hall since 2005, but has significantly raised his profile in the profession in the last few years with the publication of "Finish Strong: Resistance Training for Endurance Athletes," appearances on dozens of podcasts, guest columns on popular websites and numerous speaking appearances including both state and regional NSCA events. Â

At Seton Hall Gingerelli is responsible for the training of most varsity athletics teams, adjunct teaches several courses each semester, guest lectures in graduate courses and oversees the strength & conditioning internship program. He is also a former winner of the Most Valuable Pirate Award, presented annually to an outstanding coach, faculty member or administrator for their service and dedication to Seton Hall student-athletes.
