Seton Hall Participates in Navy Blue & Gold Invitational

Annapolis, Md. - The Seton Hall women's tennis team had five athletes compete at the Navy Blue & Gold Invitational this past weekend at the Brigade Sports Complex. Seton Hall was one of eight participants in the tournament, including Georgetown, George Washington, Navy, Towson, UNC Wilmington, Villanova and William & Mary.

In doubles, the tandem of junior Hili Kronzon and freshman Imogen Brooker lost in the main draw, but recovered to defeat a BIG EAST team of Chloe Floyd and Lauren Monti in the consolation quarter finals.

In singles, freshman Anastasia Sereda won a consolation quarterfinals match against UNCW's Stela Joksimovic, which included a marathon second-set tiebreak that Sereda won.

To complete the fall season, a few members of the Pirates will be competing in the ITA Northeast Regional, taking place at Columbia Oct. 6-8.
