Vizzard Takes 1650 Free Title on WVU Day Three

Morgantown, W. Va. – Sean Vizzard (Mount Laurel, N.J.) claimed victory in the 1650 Free as the Seton Hall men's swimming and diving team wrapped up the WVU Invite on Saturday night.
Vizzard took the top spot in the mile by finishing with a time of 15:26.51. The junior came in ahead of teammate Clil Halevi (Kafar Hadranim, Israel) as the Pirates claimed each of the top two spots in the race. Halevi finished with a time of 15:34.55 to add the second-place finish to his win in the 500 Free from earlier in the week.
Michael Klimaszewski (London, England) qualified for the 200 Fly finals on Saturday night, taking fourth place overall with a time of 1:48.55. The sophomore improved on his previous season-best time in the event by over five seconds and now owns the top time in the event across the BIG EAST this season.
The Pirates now enter their winter break before resuming competition at home against NJIT on January 12.
