
Pirates Win Four Events, Break Two School Record on Day Three

The night began with the 400 IM, where Sean Vizzard (Mount Laurel, N.J.) would record a personal-best time of 3:57.41 in the Championship Final. Vizzard's new best time topped his previous best by nearly three seconds.

Klimaszewski registered Seton Hall's first victory of the night in the 100 Fly, winning the even in a time of 46.82 to also earn an NCAA "B" cut. The time broke the program record in the event which Klimaszewski had set Friday morning during preliminaries. The freshman has broken the 100 Fly record three separate times this season.

In the 200 Free, Kevin Cary (West Chester, Pa.) was able to grab a second place finish in a time of 1:37.05. He and Ben LaClair (Belchertown, Mass.) found their way on the podium in the event, as LaClair finished fifth in the race in 1:38.88.

The Pirates' second victory of the night came courtesy of Pantano, who swam a 48.14 to earn the top spot in the 100 Back. Pantano became just the second Seton Hall men's swimmer ever to win the 100 Back at BIG EAST and the first since 2005.

The 3-meter dive followed which saw Murtha repeat his performance from Wednesday night. The sophomore took home first place with a total score of 613.80, becoming the first Pirate to win both the 1-meter and 3-meter at the BIG EAST Championships since current diving coach Ben Mitchell in 2015.

The Pirates ended the night with a bang, winning the 400 Medley Relay and breaking the school record in the process. Pantano, Ben Endersby (Caldwell, N.J.), Klimaszewski and Cary combined for a time of 3:13.09 to claim the top spot.

Heading into the final day of competition, the margin at the top of the standings is thin. The Pirates have 517.5 total points to place them third behind Xavier and Georgetown, but they trail the first-place Hoyas by less than 50 points.
