
Klimaszewski, Vizzard Secure NCAA B Times on Day Four

Kicking off the night was Vizzard taking home a silver medal in the 1650 Free, earning an NCAA "B" cut time of 15:14.23. Two spots behind him was freshman Clil Halevi (Kafar Hadranim, Israel), who took fourth place also with a "B" cut time of 15:19.18.

Pantano was able to win another backstroke event on Saturday night, as the senior capped his career with a win in the 200 Back. His time of 1:46.00 helped him to the victory, becoming the first Pirate men's swimmer to win BIG EAST titles in both events in the same year.

Two Pirates worked their way onto the podium in the 100 Free, led by Ben LaClair (Belchertown, Mass.) third-place finish with a time of 44.49. Freshman Kevin Cary (West Chester, Pa.) took a sixth-place finish in 45.02.
Klimaszewski continued his dominance in the butterfly events, winning the 200 Fly with a school-record an NCAA "B" cut time of 1:45.23. For the second straight day, Klimaszewski broke school records in Fly events during Prelims and then during Finals.

One more race was still on tap for the Pirates at this year's championships, and The Hall would come away victorious in the 400 Free Relay. Thomas Minar (Oxford, Conn.), Cary, Klimaszewski and LaClair combined to swim a time of 2:58.35 to capture the win in the final event.

After the conclusion of events, Quinn Murtha (Cumming, Ga.) was named Most Outstanding Men's Diver for his wins in the 1-meter and 3-meter events this week. Diving coach Ben Mitchell was named Men's Diving Coach of the Year, helping both Murtha and Trevor Post (Bay City,Mich.) earn medals in diving events this week.
