On the three-meter board, Nick Graham was the only Pirate to make it into the final eight competitors for the final night of the meet. Despite a strong prelims performance, the sophomore finished third with a score of 331.70.

Before finals even began, a pair of Pirates battled in the 1650 freestyle session. Jack Callan topped the timing sheets in 10th place with a time of 15:39.48, while freshman Zach McLeod finished right behind him in 11th with a mark of 15:47.34.
Once the session fully kicked off, the Pirates jumped off the blocks with one of the team's most stacked events: the 200 backstroke. In the A final, reigning BIG EAST Champion Balint Marosi, from lane eight, piloted his way to second place in the heat with a season-best mark of 1:46.16. In the B final, twins Kaedin and Kale Duong were locked in a battle for sibling supremacy. While Kale outdid his brother in prelims, Kaedin would secure the better result in the B final with a time of 1:49.19 compared to his brother's mark of 1:50.49.
In the fastest event of the night, the 100 freestyle, the Pirates loaded up the A final with three swimmers. The lowest of the three was Kevin Cary, who finished in seventh with a time of 44.86. Ahead of Cary, on the third step of the podium, was Toma Adam. The Romanian, a former school record holder, secured the bronze with a time of 44.03. However, the 100 freestyle was ruled by Michael Klimaszewski. After breaking the school record in prelims, the senior dominated the second half of the 100 to take home the gold and lower his school record time to 43.36, four-tenths of a second faster than Adam's record from the 2025 BIG EAST Championships.
In the B final of the 200 breaststroke, freshman Jaeger Ellerman put up a standout time of 2:01.58. That mark was not only three seconds faster than his prelims time, but was the fastest time that Ellerman swam in nearly two years. While Daniel Krajewski rounded out the B final, the C final showcased the return of Lorenzo Tabladini. After missing last season due to injury, Tabladini raced his fastest time in over three years with a speedy 2:03.48 across the 200 yards.
After the strong performance in the mile, McLeod found himself in the A final of the 200 butterfly. The freshman failed to match his prelims time of 1:48.23, but still recorded a time that would've been a season-best entering the day. In the B-final, sophomore Jake Karulf swam a swift time of 1:50.76. That time was less than three-quarters of a second slower than the Ohioan's BIG EAST Championships mark from last season.
In the final event of the night, the 400 freestyle relay, the Pirates ran back their BIG East Championship-winning lineup from last season, but in a different order. Klimaszewski and Marosi provided blistering opening legs, while Cary and Adam brought things home for a third-place finish. The result, a time of 2:55.64, ended up breaking the quartet's school record time of 2:56.10 from back in February.
What's Next
The Pirates will return to action in the New Year on Jan. 17, 2026, when the team plays host to Wagner on Senior Day. Diving is slated to begin at 10 a.m., while swimming is to be decided.
