
Cary, McLeod Top Times as Pirates Fall to Drexel

PHILADELPHIA, PA. – In the Pirates' final dual meet of the fall, Seton Hall men's swimming and diving fell to Drexel, 195-105, inside Daskalakis Athletic Center.
Diving
To close out the fall meet schedule, Nick Graham continued his undefeated run in dual meets. Graham won both boards handily, topping the one-meter and three-meter with scores of 310.65 and 339.60, respectively.
Aside from Graham, the Pirates' freshman split podium duties. Henry Summers finished second on the one-meter with a mark of 250.13. Mason Case, meanwhile, secured third on the three-meter with a score of 237.68.
Swimming
In the opening individual event of the meet, freshman Zach McLeod and senior Jack Callan claimed a 1-2 finish to open the meet. McLeod topped the times with a mark of 9:41.13, while Callan registered a time of 9:45.13.
The Pirates' lone other win in the pool came by way of Kevin Cary in the 200 IM. The senior secured victory in the event with a time of 1:53.41, nearly two seconds clear of his competition. He also added second-place finishes in both the 100 (45.16) and 200 (1:38.94) freestyles.
The Pirates added a few additional results of interest in the back half of the meet. Toma Adam finished second in the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.00. In a rare occurrence, Michael Klimaszewski finished second in the 100 butterfly with a time of 49.31.
What's Next
The Pirates will look to close out the first half of their season at the Bucknell Fall Invitational from Nov. 21-23. Prelims will begin at 10 a.m. each day, while finals will begin at 6 p.m.
