
Pirates Drop Home Clash Against Lehigh

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – In the final home meet of the fall, Seton Hall women's swimming and diving fell to Lehigh, 175-68, in Imperatore Natatorium.
Diving
Senior Amy Kugelman produced one of her best weekends this season in this bout against the Mountain Hawks. On the three-meter board, Kugelman placed second with a score of 253.05. When things shifted down to the one-meter board, she continued her strong run of form with her third-place score of 204.97.
Swimming
On a young Seton Hall roster, the star of the day was sophomore Zeynep Aysoy. The Turk continued her dominance in the 1000 freestyle, recording an event-winning time of 10:37.81. She would also narrowly collect a second-place finish in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:10.45.
Alongside Aysoy's distance dominance, Naima Hazell continued hers in the sprint events. Hazell won the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.26. Additionally, the junior finished third in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:09.79.
While she didn't win, junior Soluna Lim continued taking steps forward in her second season in South Orange. In the 100 butterfly, Lim secured a second-place finish with a time of 57.78.
What's Next
The Pirates will travel to Philadelphia, Pa., tomorrow, Nov. 8, to take on the Drexel Dragons in The Hall's final dual meet of the fall.
