
Pirates Earn CSCAA Spring Scholar All-America Team Honors

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams were named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America's (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Teams for the Spring 2025 semester. The Pirates have earned the distinction in each of the 16 semesters that head coach Derek Sapp has been at the helm.
Selection to the team is based on cumulative team grade point average for the fall semester. The men qualified with a team GPA of 3.50, while the women received the honor with a GPA of 3.57.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the first organization of college coaches in America - is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
Overall, 763 teams from 432 institutions were honored, representing a total of 18,459 student-athletes.
