
BIG EAST Announces 2025-26 League Slate, Seton Hall Schedule Complete

The Pirates will play five weekend home games at Prudential Center during BIG EAST play
NEW YORK – The Seton Hall men's basketball team will open the 20-game BIG EAST Conference slate on Friday, Dec. 19 when the Pirates travel to take on Providence as the league announced its full 2025-26 schedule on Thursday. Television assignments and tip times will be announced at a later date.
Season tickets for the 14-game schedule at Prudential Center start at just $261 per seat plus a $75 per seat Priority Seat Premium donation to the Pirate Blue Athletic Fund, and fans have the option to pay over time using a flexible credit card payment plan. Season ticket holders also receive priority access to purchasing a discounted season parking pass, purchasing discounted tickets to the three regular season games in Walsh Gymnasium, purchasing tickets to the BIG EAST Tournament and purchasing tickets to national postseason tournaments.
The Hall's first league game at Prudential Center will be on Tuesday, Dec. 23 as the Pirates will host Villanova. The Wildcats are now led by a familiar face in Kevin Willard, who coached the Pirates for 12 seasons from 2010-22 and is the second-winningest coach in program history. After Christmas, the Pirates wrap up 2025 on the road at Marquette on Tuesday, Dec. 30.
The New Year sees Seton Hall return to Prudential Center on Sunday, Jan. 4 for a matchup against Creighton, the first of five weekend home games for the Pirates during the season. Seton Hall will also face Butler (Saturday, Jan. 17), Marquette (Saturday, Jan. 31), Georgetown (Saturday, Feb. 21) and St. John's (Friday, March 6) on weekends.
The month of January also sees the Pirates play five games at Prudential Center. Included in those five is a Tuesday, Jan. 13 matchup against UConn. The Pirates have won four straight home matchups against the Huskies, including last season's thrilling overtime victory.
On Tuesday, Jan. 20, the Pirates head to Madison Square Garden for their first clash of the season with local foe St. John's.
February begins with a crucial road swing, with the Pirates heading to Finneran Pavilion to face Villanova (Wednesday, Feb. 4) before trip to Omaha to battle Creighton (Saturday. Feb. 7). The Hall returns to Newark for three of its next four games, including midweek showdowns with Providence (Wednesday, Feb. 11) and DePaul (Wednesday, Feb. 18).
After the Pirates' second bye week, The Hall faces a critical three-game stretch to close the regular season. On Saturday, Feb. 28, the Pirates head up to Gampel Pavilion to take on UConn before a trip to Cincinnati to square off with Xavier on Tuesday, March 3. The Pirates will celebrate Senior Night during their regular season finale against St. John's on Friday, March 6.
