
Pirate Men, Women Secure USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – The Seton Hall men's and women's cross country teams have been recognized with U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team recognition for the fall season, the organization announced.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
In their first season under new Head Coach Jacob Simon, Seton Hall found success on and off the course. The Pirate men wrapped up the fall slate with a cumulative GPA of 3.73, while the women capped off the term with a 3.43 mark. For the men, their GPA tied them with Creighton for the highest mark in the BIG EAST. The tally also ranked sixth-best among men's teams in the nation, trailing only Mercer, Brown, San Diego, Utah Tech and Fordham.
