Pirates Open BIG EAST Championships With Season-Best Relay Time

OCALA, FLA. – The Seton Hall women's swim and dive team kicked off the 2026 BIG EAST Swim and Dive Championships with a season-best relay performance and the opening day of diving.
Diving
In her second career BIG EASTs, sophomore Sarah Behrman finished at the top Pirate on the three-meter board, narrowly missing out on a consolation final by 1.15 points with a score of 2:03.15. Amy Kugelman and Daphne Powell finished their three-meter performances with scores of 189.35 and 185.60, respectively.
Swimming
Leading off the meet, the Pirates looked to make a strong early showing in the 200 medley relay. After a fast leadoff backstroke leg by Bianka Bukovics, Yosun Hacifazioglu, Soluna Lim and Naima Hazell battled their way to a tightly-contested sixth-place finish with a time of 1:43.22.
After a break for diving, Seton Hall returned to the blocks for the 800 freestyle relay. From an outside lane, Zeynep Aysoy, Skylar Hay, Hannah Pronk and Carys Graville raced to a season-best time of 7:44.00.

The Pirates will kick off day two of the BIG EAST Championship at 10 a.m. on YouTube. Finals will be streamed on ESPN+ starting at 5:45 p.m.
