OCALA, FLA. – The Seton Hall women's swim and diving team continued its run 2026 BIG EAST Swim and Dive Championships with a series titanic B-final swims by freshman swimmers.
Swimming
After a strong C-final performance by a trio a Pirates, it was a different member who jumped onto the blocks to swim. Riding the high off a strong prelims swim, Naber utilized a dominant second half to top the B-final with a career-best time of 55.62.
That momentum continued into the B-final of the 100 breaststroke, where, in the same heat as teammate Naima Hazell, freshman Ella Drakulich launched into action. While Drakulich was unable to sustain her blistering pace from the opening two laps, she brought the race home in third place with a career-best time of 1:05.20. The push would not end there, as Yosun Hacifazioglu secured much needed points in the A-final.
Later on, Naber and Bianka Bukovics closed out the day's individual slate on a strong note. While collecting essential points for The Hall's battle with Butler in the standings, Naber and Bukovics produced near-best times. Bukovics tied her career-best with a 56.34, while Naber barely missed out on an improvement with a time of 56.61.
