2019-20:Â Picked up a pair of third place finishes in both the 500 and 1000 Free against Rider (10/5)... Swam a season-best 500 Free in a time of 5:05.77 at teh Patriot Invitational (11/21)... Took third as part of the 200 Free Relay team at Fairfield (1/12)... Placed second in the 1000 Free against Delaware (1/18)... Earned a third place finish at La Salle (1/25) in the 1000 Free...Â
2018-19: Won the 1000 Free with a time of 10:44.67 vs. St. Peter's on Jan. 25... Placed third in the 100 Back (1:04.66) against Monmouth on Jan. 17… Won the 1000 Free (10:44.67) and placed second in the 200 Back (2:14.31) vs. Saint Peter’s on Jan. 25.
2017-18: Won the 500 Free (5:15.57) and came in second in the 200 Free (1:59.05) against Rider (10/7)...Placed third in both the 500 Free (5:14.09) and 1000 Free (10:44.23) against UMBC (10/6)
2016-17: Placed 6th in the 1650 at Big East Championship (2/22/)...Won the 1000- free with a time of 10:43.46 against St.Peters and Montclair State(10/7)... Finished in third-place in both the 500 freestyle (5:16.61) and the 1650 freestyle (18:12.09) against West Virginia, Xavier and Butler(10/14)...
Before SHU/Personal: Four-year varsity swimmer...Named most valuable swimmer of the CHSAA conference during the 2014-15 season...recipient of the Joseph and Anna Stetz Award in 2016...First in the conference for the 500-free with a time of 5:03.11...Daughter of Lisa and Keith Van Tassell...Plans on majoring in education...Born December 28, 1998.
