Seton Hall Golf Places 12th at Ironwood Intercollegiate

As a team, the Pirates shot their best round of 301 on Tuesday to finish 321-312-301-934 for the tournament. Seton Hall finished 37 strokes behind the champion, Georgia Southern University who shot an 897 for the three-day tournament.
Smith fired a 79-77-73-229 for the tournament trailing the champion, Justin Kolumber of Georgia Southern, by 11 strokes.
Sophomore Justin Van Hyning (Bordentown, NJ) finished a Pirate second-best shooting an 80-76-75-231 tying him for 38th place overall. Junior Brian McGowan (Cresskill, NJ) tied for 56th firing a 79-81-76-236 over the three days. Freshman Jay Allaghi (Franklin Lakes, NJ) tied for 75th with a 83-82-77-242, and junior Jonas Forssell (North Plainfield, NJ) rounded out the Pirates? scoring shooting an 86-78-83-247 tying for 89th place overall for the tournament.
The Pirates will return to action on April 1-2 at the Campbell University Invitational.
