Golf Team in 22nd Place at NCAA Regional

WILLIAMSBURG, VA - The Seton Hall golf team was in 22nd place after the first round of the NCAA East Regional, held at Golden Horseshoe. The Pirates shot a 302 on the day, a score which is 14 over par.
Senior Eugene Smith (Glen Ridge, NJ) and junior Brian McGowan (Cresskill, NJ) were tied for 84th place as both players shot a 3-over par 75. Justin Van Hyning (Bordentown, NJ) and Jay Allaghi (Franklin Lakes, NJ) were each tied for 100th place in the individual standings with a four-over par 76.
