Golf Team Ties for 19th at NCAA East Regionals

WILLIAMSBURG, VA - The Seton Hall golf team finished in a tie for 19th place at the NCAA East Regionals held at Golden Horseshoe in Williamsburg, VA.
The Pirates recorded a three-day total of 890 (302-284-304)as they made their fourth straight appearance at the NCAA Regional.
Senior Eugene Smith (Glen Ridge, NJ) was the Pirates' top finisher, tying for 56th place. Smith closed out his career shooting a 216 (75-68-73) in the three-day event. Brian McGowan (Cresskill, NJ) was Seton Hall's next highest finisher, tying for 93rd with a total of 224 (75-69-80).
East Tennessee State won the Regional, with a 36-under par score of 828. North Carolina State finished second with a total of 836, 28 under par.
