Golf Opens Season at Navy Fall Invitational

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Seton Hall golf team opened their fall campaign on Saturday by competing in the Navy Fall Invitational at the Naval Academy Golf Course. The Pirates shot a 624 (317-307) to finish 18th out of 20 squads.
Seton Hall's top performer was freshman Kyle Morris (Powell, Ohio) who finished in a tie for 53rd after shooting a 154 (80-74).
Junior Michael Byland (Kelowna, B.C.)was right behind Morris with a 155 (80-75), good for a 55th place tie.
Senior Scott Sanderson (Moscow, Penn.) completed play with a 157 (78-79) finishing tied for 67th place. Junior Dean Gultula (Haskell, N.J.) logged a 158 (79-79), and tied for 73rd. Senior Andrew Revue (Northbrook, Ill.) finished in a tie for 89th after shooting a 163 (80-83).
The Pirates return to action on this Friday and Saturday at the Rutgers University Men's Golf Invitational. The tournament site will be the Rutgers University Golf Course in Piscataway, N.J.
