Golf Finishes 7th At Rain Shortened Rutgers Invitational

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Seton Hall golf team finished seventh out of eight teams in the Rutgers Fall Invitational after Saturday's round was canceled due to inclement weather. The Pirates shot a 595 (297-298) on Friday, which became their final score after Saturday's cancellation.
Seton Hall was led by senior Andre Rueve (Northbrook, Ill.) who finished in a tie for 15th overall with a 145 (74-71). Freshman Kyle Morris (Powell, Ohio) finished 18th after shooting a 147 (75-72).
Other Pirate finishers included senior Scott Sanderson (Moscow, Penn.) and junior Micheal Byland (Kelowna, B.C.), both of whom shot a 152 to tie for 29th. Sanderson shot a 152 (74-78) while Byland finished with a 152 (75-77). Junior Dean Gultula (Haskell, N.J) finished 35th with a 154 (74-80).
The Pirates return to action on Friday, September 17 as they compete in the 2004 McLaughlin at the Bethpage Red Course in Farmingdale, N.Y.
