Golf Finishes 11th At Bradford Creek Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The Seton Hall golf team competed in the second and final round of the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate on Saturday. The event was hosted by East Carolina University at the Bradford Creek Golf Club. The Pirates finished in a tie for 11th overall out of 18 teams, shooting a 293 on Saturday to finish with an overall score of 593 (300-293).
Seton Hall placed two individual golfers in the top ten, as junior Mike Byland (Kelowna, B.C.) and freshman Kyle Morris (Olentangy, Ohio) each tied for seventh with scores of 142, two-under par. Byland shot a 70 on Saturday to finish with a 142 (72-70), while Morris shot a 72 in the second round to finish with a 142 (70-72).
Other results for Seton Hall included junior Dean Gultula (Haskell, N.J.) finished in a tie for 54th place, finishing 6-over with a 150 (78-72). Senior Scott Sanderson shot a 159 (80-79) to finish in 85th place, 15-over, and freshman Rich Brazeau (Portsmouth, N.H.) finished in 87th after recording a 160 (80-80), 16-over.
Seton Hall golf will return to action in two weeks on April 1, as the Pirates will compete in the George Washington Invitational at the Swan Point Country Club in Issue, Md.
