Golf Places Sixth At Yale Invitational

NEW HAVEN, CONN. - The Seton Hall golf team was in action over the weekend, competing at the Yale Invitational. The tournament was held at the par-70, Yale University Golf Course on the campus in New Haven. The Pirates finished in sixth place out of 22 teams, shooting a 611 (308-303).
Freshman Rich Brazeau (Portsmouth, N.H.) had another strong showing and finished as Seton Hall's top individual finisher. Brazeau placed 13th after shooting a 149 (78-71) on the weekend. Freshman Kyle Morris (Olentangy, Ohio) placed 19th with a score of 150 (74-76). Other individual results for Seton Hall included senior Andrew Rueve (Northbrook, Ill.) in 59th place with a score of 157 (80-77), junior Dean Gultula (Haskell, N.J.) in 64th place after shooting a 158 (77-81), and senior Scott Sanderson (Moscow, Pa.) who also tied for 64th with a 158 (79-79).
The Pirates will return to action next Sunday at the Navy Invitational, which will be held at the Naval Academy Golf Club in Annapolis, Md.
