Golf Competes At George Washington Invitational

ISSUE, MD. - The Seton Hall golf team was in action on Sunday at the George Washington Invitational in Issue, Md. The tournament, held on the par-72 course at the Swan Point Yacht and Country Club, was shortened to one round on Sunday after Saturday's first round was rained out. The Pirates finished 17th out of 26 teams after finishing with a score of 322.

The top individual finish for Seton Hall was posted by freshman Rich Brazeau (Portsmouth, N.H.). Brazeau shot a 76 (39-37), 3-over to finish in a six-way tie for 12th place overall. Senior Andrew Rueve (Northbrook, Ill.) shot an 81 (38-43), 9-over and ranked in a tie for 66th place. Other Seton Hall finishers included Kyle Morris (Olentangy, Ohio) in 76th after shooting an 82 (43-39), junior Mike Byland (Kelowna, B.C.) in 83rd place with a score of 83 (41-42), and junior Dean Gultula (Haskell, N.J.) in 102nd place with a final result of 86 (45-41).

The Pirates will return to action on Saturday at the Yale Spring Opener, which will be held at the Yale University Golf Course in New Haven, Conn.
