To all interested in the SHU Pep Band:
Thank you for your interest in our program. The following is a little background on the SHU Pep Band.
The Pep Band is an integral part of the University's basketball program. We play at all home men's and women's basketball games. We also accompany the team to the Big East Tournament, and to the NCAA Basketball tournament if either team is selected.
The Pep Band will take up a fair amount of your time, especially from December to March. Rehearsals are usually on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:00 PM. The exact date will be set as we get closer to the start of Fall Semester. You will be expected to attend a certain number of rehearsals before you can play at a game. The band is just as much social as it is performance. If you are looking for something to do, come check us out.
