Heta Korpivaara, Women’s Basketball

Senior Heta Korpivaara was named to the All-Tournament Team at the WBCA/Metrosports Classic last weekend as the Pirates went 1-1 to start the 2006-07 season.  In the Pirates win over Missouri State on Nov. 11, she had 22 points on 8-11 shooting, to go with seven rebounds.  Korpivaara hit three clutch baskets in the second half during an 8-0 run that helped Seton Hall take the lead.  Korpivaara also posted 18 points and five rebounds against Kansas on Nov. 10.
