
Tricia Meyers Named To All-BIG EAST Second Team

This marks the first time Meyers has been named to a BIG EAST postseason award, and she is the only Pirate to receive the honors this season. Meyers was also named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the weeks of Oct. 2, and Oct. 16.
Meyers set a career-high in blocks when she posted eight at Notre Dame on Sept. 30, and tied a personal-best, with 21 kills in the season finale against
Louisville’s Ana Stewart was named Player of the Year, Louisville’s Tatyana Kolesnikova was named Rookie of the Year, St. John’s Kathleen “Lena” Yee was named Libero of the Year, and St. John’s Joanne Persico-Smith was named Coach of the Year.
