
Volleyball Drops Match Against Villanova

Seton Hall fell behind 13-6 to begin game one, but the Pirates went on a 5-0 run to take their first lead at 18-16. The Pirates and Wildcats traded points at the most part with Seton Hall holding the lead. Seton Hall served for the match twice, at 29-28 and 31-30. Villanova tied the score at 32-32 and won the game, 34-32 on a kill and a Pirate attack error.
After dropping the second game, 30-16, the Pirates took an early lead only for the Wildcats come back to take an 11-10 lead. Villanova extended the lead to 18-14, but Seton Hall stayed close and regained the lead 22-20. The Wildcats came right back to tie the game at 22-22 and took a 25-23 advantage. The Pirates rallied with a 7-2 run and were serving for the match at 29-27, but Villanova answered by scoring the next four points to finish of Seton Hall.
