WSOU Radio to Air Mary Jennings Tribute on Sunday Evening

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Seton Hall University’s student radio station, WSOU, will air a tribute to women’s soccer player Mary Jennings at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday evening. Jennings passed away from cancer on June 23. Tune into the broadcast at 89.5 FM or listen live on the web at www.wsou.net.
Head women’s soccer coach Betty Ann Kempf-Townsley and senior women’s soccer players Megan Fenton, Katie Herr and Jen Michewicz will join WSOU sports director Brian Ciano to share their memories of Jennings.
Jennings, a native of Piscataway, N.J., who attended Piscataway High School, played two seasons at Seton Hall, missing her freshman year with a torn ACL. She played in two games in 2004 and 14 last season, registering two starts and finishing with one assist. She was a secondary education and history double major and a dean’s list student every semester.
