Bellomy Named to Academic All-District Second Team

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Sophomore volleyball player Melissa Bellomy (Arlington, Texas) was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team as selected by CoSida on Nov. 9.

Bellomy, a biology major with a 3.96 GPA, has played in 70 games and registered a career-high 131 kills and 38 blocks on the season.

The Pirate volleyball team wraps up regular season play at Marquette on Nov. 9 and at Syracuse on Nov. 11.
