James Gurr Track and Field

 

Sophomore James Gurr earned a sixth place finish in the 800-meter run at the NCAA Outdoor Regionals on May 26 in Gainesville, Fla. He ran the seventh fastest preliminary time of 1:48.97 in the opening heats to earn a spot in the finals. The next day, Gurr ran an identical time on his way to sixth place.
