Golf Places Seventh at Rutherford Intercollegiate

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Seton Hall golf team closed it's 2007 spring season with a seventh place finish at the Rutherford Intercollegiate. Junior Kyle Morris (Powell, Ohio) tied for ninth place after shooting a +10, 226 (72, 74, 80). The Pirates shot a team total of 937 (301, 312, 324).
Freshman David Sampson (Warren, R.I.) placed 16th after scoring a +15, 231 (71, 77, 83). Sophomore John Zur (Glenview, Ill.) shot a three-round total of +20, 236 (74, 81, 81) to tie for 27th. Junior Rich Brazeau (Portsmouth, N.H.) tied for 57th with a +32, 248 (86, 80, 82). Freshman Ryan Castanet (McDonald, Pa.) tied for 62nd with a +35, 251 (84, 86, 81).
The Pirates will return to action next fall.
