Juniors and seniors with a 3.2 minimum cumulative grade-point average are eligible to be a Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar. In addition, athletes must obtain under a 76.0 stroke average for Division I, under a 78.0 for Division II and under a 79.0 for Division III.
Morris had a tremendous junior year for the Pirates. He was Seton Hall’s low scorer four times, had five top-10 finishes and won the Navy Spring Invitational and the George Washington Invitational. The Pirates’ low scorer for the season with a 73.5 stroke average, Morris set the school record for lowest round score with an eight-under par, 63, in the second round of the Treasure Coast Classic.
An outstanding student, Morris earned ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District II Second Team Team honors in May and maintains a sparkling 3.89 grade-point average in Sports Management.
