
Pirates Giving Away Basketballs To Youth Groups

NEWARK, NJ -- A large number of community youth groups will be the first beneficiaries of the
Seton Hall, which has adopted the theme “The Pirates Are Coming!” will be giving away 5,000 basketballs to boys and girls in the next three months as part of a community effort to commemorate the team’s move to the new arena. The program will focus on non-profit organizations with youngsters in grammar schools and middle schools and include visits by Athletics Director Joe Quinlan, Men’s Basketball Coach Bobby Gonzalez and both current and former Pirate players.
