Allie Matters, Volleyball

Sophomore Allie Matters was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Sooner Legends Nike Invitational this past weekend. On Aug. 24, Matters tied a career-high with 22 kills along with 19 kills for her 12^th career double-double against Alabama. She also led the Pirates’ attack with eight kills in SHU’s match against No. 22 Oklahoma. The Pirates look to pick up their first win of the season at the Jasper Invitational on Aug. 31-Sept. 1.
