PROVIDENCE, R.I. Junior Tricia Meyers (Cincinnati, Ohio) was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for her efforts last week. Meyers was named MVP of the Rose Hill Invitational, after leading Seton Hall to a 3-0 mark.

Meyers led the team with 48 kills, with just 13 errors in 93 attack attempts for a .376 hitting percentage. In a win over Fordham, she notched a 19 kill effort with a .300 hitting percentage and four blocks. Meyers also came up big in a five game win over Central Connecticut State, as she posted a career-best 23 kills on .378 attack percentage, as well as adding three aces in the match. To close the weekend, Meyers had six kills on eight attacks, boasting a .750 hitting percentage.

This is the fourth time she has been named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll in her career.

The Pirates host No. 23 St. John’s on Friday, Sept. 21 at 7:00 p.m.
