Golf Places Fourth at the McLaughlin

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - The Seton Hall golf team finished fourth at the McLaughlin after shooting a 284 in the final round. Senior Kyle Morris (Powell, Ohio) shot a one-under par, 69, on Saturday, to finish in a tie for ninth for the tournament. West Florida won the tournament, shooting -10 (83) as a team.
Junior John Zur (Glenview, Ill.) shot a +5 (75) in the closing 18, to finish tied for 20th. Sophomore Ryan Castanet (McDonald, Pa.) fired a -3 (67) and jumped 30 positions to tie for 29th. Freshman Colin Van Es (Granger, Ind.) tied for 47th after a +3 (74) on Saturday. Sophomore David Sampson (Warren, R.I.) also shot a 74 to tie for 72nd.
The Pirates return to action on Oct. 6-7 at the MacDonald Cup in New Haven, Conn.
