Jamar Nutter, Men’s Basketball

Senior Jamar Nutter poured in a career-high 29 points to help the men’s basketball team top Morgan State, 89-81, on Jan. 5. Nutter shot 10-of-15 from the floor and pulled down six boards in 36 minutes off the bench. He scored seven points in an early 14-4 run that put the Pirates in control in the first half. Nutter is also on the verge of reaching 1,000 career points, with 952 in three-plus seasons.
