
Matters Named to All-BIG EAST Volleyball Second Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I. Junior Allie Matters (North Tonowanda, N.Y.) was selected to the All-BIG EAST Second Team as announced by the conference on Thursday evening.
Matters posted a Seton Hall single-season record with 576 digs, and set the BIG EAST record with eight 20-plus dig matches in conference play. She also tied a BIG EAST mark by posting double-figure digs in all 14 conference matches.
The BIG EAST leader in digs per set with 5.10, Matters closed the season with a 32 scoop effort against Georgetown, the second highest single-match total in the school’s history.
Matters is currently second in Pirate history with 1,381 digs in three seasons.
