Volleyball's Bellomy Named to Academic All-District Second Team

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Junior volleyball player Melissa Bellomy (Arlington, Texas) was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team for the second consecutive year. The selections were announced by CoSida on Nov. 6.

 

Bellomy, a biochemistry major with a 3.98 GPA, has played in 64 sets and registered 72 kills and 32 blocks on the season.

 

The Pirate volleyball hosts Syracuse on Saturday, November 8 and Marquette, Sunday, November 9 at Walsh Gym. Both matches begin at 2:00 p.m.
