This immersive concert event features some of the best video game music, performed by the NJSO and the Schola Cantorum on Hudson choir, backed by synchronized lighting, video imagery, live action and audience interactivity. Featuring music from such games as MarioTM, Zelda, Halo, Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider and Guitar Hero, as well as the classic Donkey Kong, Tetris, Pac-Man and many more, this event is sure to dazzle audiences of all ages gamers and non-gamers alike! Presented by NJPAC and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra.
Come early and play your favorite games for free in the Prudential Hall lobby! The Video Games Live pre-show arcade will feature classic, old-school video games, Wii, PlayStation 3, and Xbox favorites, plus a Guitar Hero competition (pre-show and during intermission) and a pre-show costume contest with prizes. Constume contest participants are invited to sign-up before the show and will be escorted on stage prior to the performance for audience voting. Following the performance, there will be a post-show meet-and-greet with performers in the Prudential Hall lobby.
