Greg Gomes, Track and Field

Senior Greg Gomes won his third consecutive BIG EAST Indoor 500-meter dash championship last weekend at the Armory in New York. Gomes broke his own meet-record with a time of 1:01.02 in the race. In addition, he also took gold after running the anchor leg of the winning men’s 4x400-meter relay team. For his career, Gomes has won five total BIG EAST Championships.
