Greg Gomes, Track and Field

Senior Greg Gomes won his third straight Metropolitan Championship in the 500-meter dash on Friday, February 1 in a time of 1:01.74. Gomes is also the reigning two-time BIG EAST and IC4A Indoor Champion in the event and will defend his titles later this season. Gomes was also a member of the victorious 4x400-meter relay team at the Metropolitan and the 4x400 squad that competed in the 101^st running of the Millrose Games at Madison Square Garden.
