Kelly Widders Named BIG EAST/Aeropostale Scholar Athlete

The BIG EAST/Aropostale Scholar-Athlete Awards were established to recognize student-athletes who have achieved success in the classroom and on the field. Aropostale and the BIG EAST have been partners since 1999.
Widders set career-highs in games played (94), kills (128), and blocks (80), helping the Pirates to a16-12 overall record in 2007. In the classroom, the English Honors and Classical Studies major boasts a 3.91 GPA.
