Brian Laing, Men’s Basketball

Senior Brian Laing was named to the BIG EAST First Team on Monday. Laing finished the regular season averaging 19.0 ppg, which ranked second in the conference. To close the regular season, he posted 20 points against Syracuse and 16 in his final game at Prudential Center against Rutgers. In addition, Laing was named to the NABC District 3 First Team on March 6. The Pirates will take on No. 24 Marquette in the opening round of the BIG EAST Championship on Wednesday night.
