Volleyball Releases 2008 Schedule

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. The Seton Hall volleyball program has announced its 2008 fall schedule. The Pirates will start the season at the Hofstra Invitational in Hempstead, N.Y. on Friday, August 29.

Seton Hall will head to Durham, N.C. to take on Duke, Georgia, and Colgate at the Duke Invitational the following weekend, and will wrap up tournament play at the New Hampshire Invitational on September 12-13.

The Pirates home opener is on September 10 against Farleigh Dickinson, and BIG EAST play will begin for SHU with a match against West Virginia on September 27 in Walsh Gym.

Seton Hall will also host conference foes Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Villanova, DePaul, Notre Dame, Syracuse, and Marquette. The conference road schedule consists of Cincinnati, Louisville, Connecticut, St. John’s, USF, and Georgetown.

The BIG EAST Championship will be held from November 21-23 in Pittsburgh, Pa.
