Jernail Hayes, Track and Field

Sophomore Jernail Hayes picked up two more conference titles at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships last weekend. Hayes won the 400-meter hurdles in 58.83 for her first individual crown, and holds the 18^th fastest time in the country in the event. She also ran the anchor leg of the winning 4x400-meter relay squad that ran a 3:35.85 to give the Pirates the indoor and outdoor championship in the competition.
