Freshman Rachael Thornquist ( In the first set, Seton Hall led for most of the way, but let NJIT (3-6) stay in the contest by committing attack errors. SHU bounced back in set two, capitalizing on several Highlander errors to go ahead, 11-5. Red-shirt freshman Rosalina Hanley’s (Rancho With the score tied, 5-5, in the third set, Seton Hall scored five straight, including a pair aces from senior Tricia Meyers ( Hanley came up with a clutch kill and a block effort from Matusiak and Meyers put the Pirates back on top. Two straight attack errors from SHU handed the lead back to the Highlanders and two more errors put NJIT ahead in the match, 2-1. An 8-1 run gave the Pirates an early 10-6 lead in the fourth set.
