Allie Matters, Volleyball

With a 21 dig effort at Penn on Sunday, junior Allie Matters became just the sixth player in Seton Hall history to surpass 1,000 career digs. She began the week at the libero position with an 18 dig performance at NJIT. Matters then saw her first action at outside-hitter in a sweep of Lafayette, coming up a kill shy of her first double-double of the season with nine kills and 12 digs. For the week, Matters averaged 4.25 digs per set. She has accumulated 1,007 digs in under three seasons and is sixth on the Pirates’ career dig list.
